In January 2024, Nonplus was engaged by the City of Fremantle to deliver publicity for the 2024 Fremantle International Street Arts Festival. The campaign would involve outreach to media and influencers to drive awareness of the 2024 event and grow Fremantle's profile as a tourism destination. ​ ​Working closely with the team, we developed a strategy that leveraged collaborations with a new "Friends of Fremantle" influencer network that we established, along with a series of announcements and artist profiling interviews relevant to timely moments such as International Women's Day. In addition to managing media and influencers, Nonplus also managed the festival's social media channels, leveraging social ads and competitions with sponsors and businesses in the LGA to grow the festival's channels. We secured over 165 pieces of coverage for the 4-day event across online, print and broadcast media. This includes front page pieces broadcast hits across Sunrise, 7 News, 9 News and two seperate features in 10 News in Perth, along with features in STM and The Weekend West Arts. We also grew the festival's Instagram following by 33% and Facebook following by 10%, with under $900 in boosting spend. Our success resulted in re-engagement to deliver the 2025 campaign for the festival, which once again surpassed KPIs and 2024 results through an integrated approach applying key learnings from 2024.
