In November 2023, Nonplus was engaged by the City of Joondalup to deliver publicity campaign for the 2024 Joondalup Festival. As part of the strategy devised by Nonplus, the campaign involved outreach to media and influencers to drive awareness and ticket sales to all performances and attendance of interactive installations as part of the 2024 event. As part of our scope of works, we developed not only a comprehensive approach for media engagement, but also initiated the development of an influencer program that was used to drive awareness in the lead up to and throughout the festival on social channels. We secured over 385 pieces of coverage for the 3-week festival across online, print and broadcast media, reaching over 58million people. This includes front page pieces in Perthnow local, broadcast hits across 7, 9 and 10 News, and a three page feature was secured for hero act, ARETHA, in the Sunday Times Magazine. Based on the success of the 2024 campaign, Nonplus Studio was engaged to deliver the 2025 campaign for Joondalup Festival which surpassed the results of the 2024 campaign through an integrated approach spanning brand partnerships, media buys, publicity and influencer relations.
